Monat Global Rejuveniqe Oil Intensive Review

Good morning ya'll!

Today I'm going to be reviewing Rejuveniqe, a product by Monat Global.  Monat's mission boasts that you can "discover visibly longer, fuller, stronger, younger-looking hair in just 90 days", and while you can't expect full results from the use of one product alone, using Rejuveniqe has definitely visibly improved my hair.

About the Product

Rejuveniqe is an oil intensive treatment that encourages hair strength, increased density, and growth.  It also works as a nice foundation for all other Monat products, which makes it a great product to try initially to see how well the line works for you! The key ingredient in Rejuveniqe is Abyssinian oil, which (along with 10 other rare oils in the product, as well as Omega-6 fatty acids and antioxidants!) helps mimic the body's natural oils to replenish and repair your hair - with instant and long-term age prevention benefits.  On top of this, those long-term benefits also can work for the skin!

Rejuveniqe works by sealing, coating, and smoothing the cuticle to boost chine and protect from the environmental elements.  It also provides nutrients to the hair, and provide some protection from styling.  It alleviates dehydration, which is a benefit that would make me try this product out all by itself!

I used this product for a week prior to reviewing, to see the effect it would have on my hair.  I have always had an issue with extremely dry, porous hair, which has been made only worse by my coloring treatments over the years.  Since the product is also supposed to be beneficial for the skin, after applying the oil to my damp hair, I would take the remaining bit left on my hands and rub onto my face, like a serum.

How to Use

To apply this product, I would take two full drops from the dropper into the center of my palm (if you do not have extremely dry or long hair, you could probably get away with a single drop) and apply first to the ends of my hair, then to the remaining rest of my hair.  After distributing the product, I made sure to take the remaining bit of the serum left on my hands and massage onto my face.  I have extremely dry skin, so I would start with my problem areas - nose, around the nose, between my eyes - and then massage onto my T-zone and cheeks, finishing with my chin and mouth area. For those who don't have especially dry skin, you could focus the oil on your problem areas - such as cuticles, elbows, ankles, or knees.

Results

I noticed the difference Rejuveniqe had on my hair after my first day using it.  My hair felt moisturized, but not greasy - a problem I have had with several other serums in the past.  The feeling it left on my hair after drying is similar to that of argon oil - it left a nice shine, added smoothness, and helped tame the dry-ness and frizzy-ness my hair usually has.

By the middle of the week, I definitely saw a difference as well as feeling it.  I am a nighttime shower-er, so I will occasionally go to bed with my hair damp (which, by the way, I don't recommend!  Do as I say, not as I do... Right?).  More often than not, this results in frizzy, poofy, hard to work with hair in the morning.  Rejuveniqe most definitely improved the state of my post-sleeping-on-damp-hair, and even if that was the only benefit I'd gained from using this product, I'd recommend it to anyone.

If you are interested in purchasing this product, and think it could work as well for you as it has for me, you can purchase it here (Monat Global's official website) for $99.00.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Product could be used on both hair and skin.
Product absorbed quickly and completely.
Does not contain silicone, which can be harsh on the hair.
Product is cruelty-free, not tested on animals.

Cons

The dropper can make it hard to estimate how much product to use.  An easy way to deal with this is to try one full drop, and if you don't notice the changes, increase to two.  I wouldn't start out with two unless you have long or really dry hair, as it could end up being too much product.
