What's My Age Again?

Good evening ya'll!

Well, I am officially 23!  My birthday was spent with family and my love, so of course it was a great day.  2015 is going to be such an important year, so many goals for myself - so 23 has the makings to be a fantastic year.

(The lyrics to this blog's title are from a pretty great early 2000's song, "nobody likes you when you're 23" is another line - it's "Whats My Age Again?" by Blink182. Great song. Even better since I'm 23)

Every year for my birthday, my parents take me and my sister down to the coast where we have dinner and then go to the casinos.  I love raw oysters, so my restaurant of choice is almost always Half Shell in Biloxi, which I would recommend to anyone!


The Poor Boyfriend has recently gotten sick, and his symptoms were really bad that night.  I told him multiple times he didn't have to come, but he must love me a lot, he still came out.  It meant a lot to me. 

We always get fried green tomatoes and crab cakes as an appetizer, which come with a decadent remoulade sauce.  For my entree, my sister and I split a dozen oysters on the half shell and "royal reds" shrimp.  I also got a glass of pinot noir to compliment my meal.

Also, here is an outstandingly unglamorous photo of the night BEFORE my birthday, where (per tradition) my dad bakes me a cake (strawberry!) and I blow out all of the candles with my sister and parents.
