Beauty review: Sally Hansen Salon Effects

By 7:00 AM , , , ,

Hey ya'll!

EEK! It's Friday the 13th! But besides thaaat...
It was requested by a follower for me to review nails wraps.  They must be a brand not sold in the United States, but I found a version of the same product sold by Sally Hansen, called Salon Effects!

I bought the glittery gold on the far right.

PRICE
I bought these at my local Walmart for $7.00.
WHAT IT IS
These are strips of prepainted nail decoration that are made of actual nail polish.  You take them out of the pack, and one by one(doing your thumbs last!) you buff your own fingernail, press the one that fits your nail shape closest to secure it to your nail, stretch it over the end of your nail, and file off the excess.  It is really that easy!  Since it is made out of real nail polish, it comes off with nail polish remover.  I wore mine for about two weeks!

PROS
- made of real nail polish, so it does not look fake or overly printed-on.
- lasts WAY longer than a manicure! I wore mine for about two weeks with NO chipping.
- MANY different types to choose from
- Easy, easy application!

CONS
- Not many different sizes to choose from.  All-in-all there are probably about 15 to 20 (I cannot for the life of me remember) in a pack. However, this is easily made up for by how easy it is to make the too-large sizes fit smaller nails.
ULTIMATELY...
This is such a simple, wonderful product that I would refer to anyone.  I loved them and plan to use them often!
